They can be played by one player or multiple players. In 1980s, text games were very popular. Now, most of text games are played by developers who wants to get familiar with the command line and programing environments. Also, computer scientists who started learning programing, they tend to build these types of games as practicing projects because they are easier than dealing with graphics and animations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #333333\">Text Adventure Games <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11.5pt;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: #333333\">Text adventure games are adventure stories that can let the player interact with the story and solve puzzles by typing commands. These types of games started to appear in 1970s. The reason for making these games was the computer limitation and the lack of imagination. Now these games started to slowly disappear and only played by programmers or senior people. Crowther made this game for his children after he broke up from his wife. This game is still popular now and when I searched online about the text games, I found that everyone is talking about the game and it is all over the internet. The game is to solve some puzzles to find \u201cTwenty Treasures of Zork.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What came before text adventure games?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>High level programming language found in 1940s by Konrad Zuse. The programing language unpacked all the power of computation. It helped the developers work much faster and it is much easier than the assembly language which found before the high level\u00a0language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What came after text adventure games?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Video games came after the text games and became much popular in the world. Text games started to disappear after the video games came out. Video games are much interesting than text games because they used interactive visuals.
