The website was easy to navigate with the header bar and followed a specific theme throughout the site. I enjoyed the way the portfolio pieces were large enough to really look at and easy to locate. The color combination of blues and beige created a nice and calm theme that didn’t distract from the portfolio work being displayed. I was impressed with the coding that changed the colors as it was a something I had difficulty finding on the CSS stylesheet. I thought the header image was appealing to the eye, however, could have been a picture that showed more about who the creator of the web portfolio is as a person. The only thing I thought the website lacked was an insight into the creator. I wished their was more personal photos to be able to create a connection with them. Whether the images be of them or more portfolio pictures, I think it would add to the website in a way that allowed the audience to better understand who the person is. The front page could be another place that could show more personal details about the creator. While the about page was gave a little insight into the person, I’d love to see more about what she likes and what other works she’s created, whether as project assignments or on her own time.
